It all started about 5 years ago. I setup this domain to blog with, as a way to deal with everything that was going on with me. It gave me an outlet for expression, and it gave me something to do. I taught myself some HTML coding, some more graphic techniques, and it gave me a reason to install FreeBSD, Apache, and a few other industry standard packages. Essentially it was a diversion from what was going on in my personal life. My Blue Funk had meaning for me, and it was catchy enough that others would remember it. After quite some time, it no longer has the same meaning for me. I'm not in the same space that I was before, and while things may not be completely where I want them to be, I am far from a blue funk.

During the last few years, I grew my hair out, got an earring, and had some fun. I've made some mistakes, both small and large, but for the most part, I've enjoyed myself. I've found that people I didn't even realize read my blog, and some people that I asked to stay out of my life continue to read it. It's time that I moved on to bigger and better things. My new home will be more spacious, outfitted with a white and light grey motif, and have more content than the old one. I'll miss the name, but not the funk.
